Supply chain engagement

Your supply chain is a big deal

Scope 3 emissions are where most of your carbon footprint sits. The supply chain usually accounts for around 75% of a company’s carbon footprint and can also contribute significantly towards an organisation’s nature impacts.

So, meeting net-zero targets means achieving significant reductions throughout your supply chain - you simply can’t get there without doing it.

Bioregional helped us to make sense of the technical data provided by our suppliers and make a call on what was appropriate to integrate into our scope 3 footprint. As well as giving us a more specific read on our carbon footprint, Bioregional’s recommendations helped us have productive conversations needed to amplify impacts throughout our supply chain, and support our choice of suppliers for future years.
